Sarafovo is one of the newest neighborhoods of the city of Bourgas, which is the largest city in southeastern Bulgaria, regional, and tourist shopping center.

The beach is 4 kilometers long. The sand is fine and its content is very similar to that of the beach in Pomorie. In places it is almost black with rich composition of iron, manganese and magnesium.
